More Than Music. A Piece of the Island.
For more than 35 years, a journey back and forth to St. Maarten became something far greater than a vacation.
It became a story of friendships, unforgettable experiences, and one remarkable island personality — Ziggy Chang.
Inspired by the joy Ziggy brings to visitors from around the world, St. Maarten State of Mind is a collection of original island-inspired music created to capture those moments and bring the Caribbean vibe home.
The vacation may end, but the vibe lives on.
The Story Behind the Music
For more than 35 years, St. Maarten has been more than a destination — it has been a place of memories, friendships, and unforgettable experiences. Over time, one person stood out in a special way: Ziggy Chang.
Visitors were drawn to his personality, his energy, and the way he made people feel welcome. Whether at the bar, around the music, or in the middle of the island vibe, Ziggy became part of what people remembered most about St. Maarten.
That inspiration led to this project — a collection of songs created to capture the spirit of the island and give people something they could take home with them. St. Maarten State of Mind is about the vibe, the people, the memories, and the feeling that the island never really leaves you.
It’s more than music. It’s a piece of St. Maarten.
