Reflection
There are seasons in life when we wish God would show us the entire path before asking us to take the first step. We want certainty before commitment, answers before obedience, and clarity before trust.
Faith often works differently.
Walking by faith doesn’t mean pretending we have all the answers. It means trusting God even when we don’t. It means believing God’s promises when circumstances seem uncertain and choosing hope when fear tries to take the lead.
Faith isn’t measured by how clearly we’re able to see the road ahead. It’s revealed by our willingness to keep walking when we can only see the next step.
Your journey may include unanswered questions, unexpected turns, or moments when the future seems hidden from view. Yet God’s presence is not dependent upon what you can see. God is already walking beside you, leading each step with love, wisdom, and purpose.
Today, don’t wait until everything makes sense before moving forward. Trust the One who sees the whole journey, even when you can only see today’s step.
Prayer
Faithful God,
There are times when I want every answer before I move forward. Yet You invite me to trust rather than fear and to walk by faith instead of by sight.
Help me to believe Your promises when I cannot see the outcome. Give me courage when the path feels uncertain and peace when questions remain unanswered.
Teach me to trust You one step at a time, knowing that every step taken with You is never wasted.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
