Today’s Scripture
Lamentations 3:22–23
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness
Reflection
Every journey changes us.
Some changes happen quickly.
Others are so gentle that we don’t recognize them until we stop and look back.
As you have walked through these twelve stops, perhaps you’ve noticed something beginning to change within you. Maybe your circumstances haven’t changed as much as you hoped. Maybe some questions are still unanswered. Maybe some prayers are still unfolding.
Yet something is different.
Hope has become steadier.
Faith has become deeper.
Trust has become quieter.
Peace has become more familiar.
Not because life has become easier…
But because you have continued walking with God.
Lamentations was written during a season of heartbreak and loss. Yet in the middle of sorrow, Jeremiah remembered something greater than his circumstances:
God’s mercies are new every morning.
Every sunrise is God’s quiet reminder that grace has not run out.
Every new day is another invitation to begin again.
The journey doesn’t end here.
It continues tomorrow.
And the same God who walked with you yesterday walks with you today and will meet you again tomorrow morning.
Prayer
Faithful God,
Thank You for walking beside me through every step of this journey.
Thank You for the hope You have restored, the peace You have given, the trust You have grown within me, and the reminders that Your presence has never left me.
As I continue this journey, help me remember that I never walk alone.
When tomorrow brings new opportunities, help me receive them with gratitude.
When tomorrow brings new challenges, help me meet them with faith.
When tomorrow brings new beginnings, remind me that Your mercies are already waiting there.
May my life become a reflection of Your love, Your grace, and Your faithfulness.
And may every new morning remind me that You are never finished writing my story.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Take a quiet moment. Listen without rushing. Let the words become part of your prayer.

Lamentations 3:22–23 – “New Every Morning”
[Verse 1]
When the night feels heavy, when hope seems thin
When I can’t see where to begin
Your mercies meet me in my need
A promise strong my soul can heed
[Chorus]
They’re new every morning, grace like rain
Compassion flowing through all my pain
I’m not consumed though fires burn
Your faithful love helps me return
Great is Your faithfulness, O Lord
New every morning, mercy restored
[Verse 2]
When all around me crumbles down
When silence seems the loudest sound
Your compassions never fail
Through darkest night, they still prevail
[Chorus]
They’re new every morning, grace like rain
Compassion flowing through all my pain
I’m not consumed though fires burn
Your faithful love helps me return
Great is Your faithfulness, O Lord
New every morning, mercy restored
[Bridge]
Though I have wandered far away
Your steadfast love is here to stay
I lift my eyes, I find You near
Your gentle whisper dries each tear
[Final Chorus]
New every morning, hope reborn
Light breaking through another dawn
I’m not consumed, for You are strong
Your faithfulness has been my song
Great is Your faithfulness, my Lord
New every morning, mercy restored
[Outro]
Yes, Lord…
Great is Your faithfulness today—
New every morning… come what may
Faith sees tomorrow because hope believes today.
A Question to Carry With You
What is God inviting you to leave behind today so you can embrace the new beginning He has prepared for you?
Your journey doesn’t end here. It begins again every morning.
